IEA Legislative Update for May 10, 2019
This week, we finally got some good news about pensions. It appears we are not going to be facing a pension holiday proposal at the end of the spring legislative session.
IEA donates 18 computers to I CAN READ! program
CARBONDALE – The Illinois Education Association donated 18 computers to I CAN READ! of Southern Illinois. The computers will be instrumental in helping the kindergarten through fifth grade students in the program access books online and also with writing and research.
