Batavia High School students use SCORE grant to help needy children

The students of the Developing Opportunities Program at Batavia High School and sponsoring teacher Tanner Seal used a $750 IEA SCORE grant in a community service project to create warm blankets for needy children. The grant funded the purchase of fabric and materials students used to create “no-sew, fleece blankets” for donation. Students selected materials, designed and made blankets as their contribution to the project.
