LINCOLNSHIRE– The Adlai E. Stevenson High School Education Association (AESHSEA) announced its support for three candidates in the April 6 election. The AESHSEA recommends Steve Frost, Fei Shang and Gary Gorson for the District 125 School Board election. The following statement is attributable to AESHSEA President Jason Carlson:
“We believe Steve Frost, Fei Shang and Gary Gorson are the best candidates to continue to serve our students, our school and our community. That’s why we are recommending them to serve on the District 125 School Board. We are a top-ranked school. We need a board that will not only maintain our continued excellence, but also embrace new ideas that foster inclusion. These candidates have the experience necessary to guide our district through the challenges that are ahead, including protecting the health and safety of our students, staff and teachers through the ongoing pandemic and putting forth a responsible budget that puts the needs of our students first. We have seen the good work that Frost, Shang and Gorson have done while on the District 125 board. We recommend maintaining that excellence.”
The AESHSEA represents 335 classroom teachers, counselors, social workers, psychologists, and librarians in Adlai E. Stevenson High School District 125.
