Moline Education Association supported the creation of Girls of the Run at Logan Elementary School in Moline.

Unit Five Education Association funded the purchase of supplies to craft hats for patients at the Community Cancer Center in Bloomington Normal, Illinois. Students meet after school for lessons and work time to create the hats and to enjoy the stress-relieving benefits of fiber arts and hand crafts.
LaGrange South #105 Education Association helped purchase several large compost containers for the school sensory garden to help teach fourth through sixth graders about the benefits of composting.
La Grange South Teachers Association helped support the creation of a mini meadow space that will appeal to the senses and promote tranquility with a walking path, seating, and a water feature, promoting peace and tranquility.
Mt. Olive Education Association supported a public art park, a place where students and community members can come and create murals, sculptures and other forms of art to showcase their artistic abilities.
Unit Five Education Association helped support the Girls Who Code Club at Chiddix Junior High as they partner with the Midwest Food Bank to volunteer with family and community members, learn about the food bank, and code practical programs/products to help them fulfill their mission.
Washington Education Association will help support a partnership with Legacy Solar in Bloomington, Illinois to provide students hands on classroom enrichment. The grant is to be used towards a variety of renewable resource material including biofuels, geothermal, and solar kits and will align with the Next Generation Science Standards.
