Statement from District 228 teachers on tentative agreement

MIDLOTHIAN – The following is a statement from the Bremen High School District 228 Joint Faculty Association (BHSD228-JFA) President Greg Fitch on the tentative agreement reached with the Bremen High School District 228 Board of Education (D228 BOE):

“We are pleased that we were able to find common ground with the district. We now have a tentative agreement that will put our students first and allows us to have a solid plan for the future.”

All community information meetings planned for this week are now cancelled. Also, the strike date set for Jan. 27 is suspended pending contract ratification from both the D228 BOE and the BHSD228-JFA.
