Tentative agreement reached between College of DuPage Faculty Association and College of DuPage Board of Trustees

GLEN ELLYN – The following is a statement from the College of DuPage Faculty Association (CODFA) President Shannon Toler on the tentative agreement reached this evening with the College of DuPage (COD) Board of Trustees (BOT):

“We are extremely pleased we were able to come to a tentative agreement with the COD Board of Trustees. The agreement puts students first and recognizes teaching matters. Thank you to the administration for working with us toward a fair settlement. We are hopeful both CODFA and the BOT will vote in the near future to ratify the agreement. In the meantime, we would like to thank our students and our community for standing with us. Your support is invaluable. Thank you.”

CODFA and the BOT had been negotiating since March 2019. CODFA’s current contract expired on August 14. CODFA represents 304 full-time, COD faculty. COD serves more than 26,000 students and is a designated Hispanic-Serving Institution.
