2025 IEA Early Career Spring Retreat
This event is specifically designed for members in their first 1-10 years of teaching and is hosted and planned by the IEA Early Career Committee members from across the state. Join us at The DoubleTree in Naperville, IL on April 11-12 to collaborate and network with other Early Career Educators, as well as learn more about union activism and engagement. Additionally, we will experience an inspiring keynote from Sofia Gonzalez, a powerful Ed activist in Illinois who is traveling the country to share her message about how to “flip the table.”
The retreat will kick off at 5:30PM on Friday with a buffet dinner, followed by our Early Career social event. Saturday will be packed full of functional and usable information to help you feel supported and reenergized about the incredibly important work of how union engagement can help support this work. The retreat will conclude at 4:00PM on Saturday afternoon.
