Glen Ellyn Educators Announce Recommendations for District 41 School Board

Glenn Ellyn – The Glen Ellyn Education Association (GEEA) is recommending incumbent school board members Ted Estes, Julie Hill and Jessica Buttimer in the upcoming Glen Ellyn School District 41 school board election.

GEEA represents 290 teachers and other licensed education employees who serve the 3,477 students who attend the five elementary schools in District 41.

The following statement is attributable to the GEEA Co-Presidents Tracy Guerrieri and Dina Sbarra:

“We are strongly recommending our experienced school board members Ted Estes, Julie Hill and Jessica Buttimer for re-election. We’ve seen these candidates in action. They are student-focused and work to make sure all our students have access to a high-quality public education. This is a pivotal election for our community. We have to continue to elect candidates who want to work with all stakeholders to advance public education in our community.”

The GEEA vetted and evaluated each candidate before arriving at its recommendations.
