Statement from Fenton Education Association on new contract

BENSENVILLE – The Fenton Education Association (Fenton EA) and the Fenton Community High School (FCHS) District 100 Board of Education (BOE) ratified a new contract. The following is a statement from Fenton EA President Patrick Escobedo:

“The Fenton Education Association is pleased with our new contract. We worked tirelessly over the last several months to put a contract in place that preserves the Bison Orange program, a two-tier intervention program to help struggling students, monitors and maintains reasonable class sizes and ensures we will continue to attract and retain talented educators. We are proud to say this contract truly puts students first. We are so grateful to the Fenton students, parents, community members and our lawmakers who supported us, thank you! Because of you, we were able to best advocate for our students, our school and our community.”

Fenton EA represents the 113 teachers, counselors, clinicians and other education professionals serving the nearly 1500 students in FCHS District 100 BOE.
