IEA Summer Leadership Academy 2027 - Professional Development Request for Proposals

The Summer Leadership Academy 2027 will be held July 26-29, 2027, at Illinois State University - Bone Student Center, in Normal. We are requesting proposals for training sessions that will be one hour, two hours, three hours, or six hours in length.

We are looking for sessions for our members in the areas of bargaining, grievance, racial and social justice, organizing, elections, school funding, association representative training and more. We hope the 2027 Summer Leadership Academy will allow our members to make connections among their peers and develop new leadership skills for the coming year.

Submission deadline: Proposals must be submitted by 11:59 PM on Monday, March 15, 2027. You will be notified after the RFP closes if your submission is accepted.
