We believe voters should choose our leaders, not the other way around. This isn’t about politics or parties. It’s about our democracy. Our democracy is strongest when every eligible voter has an equal voice and when every vote is counted.
Join us in supporting free and fair elections. Here’s how you can help:
- Sign the pledge and indicate how you would like to help.
- Order postcards, free of charge, to share with your IEA co-workers. You can drop those completed postcards off at your local IEA office, send them to IEA headquarters at 100 E. Edwards St., Springfield, IL 62704 or scan them in and email them to IEAfreeandfair@ieanea.org.

- Finally, ask your school board to sign the school board pledge, vowing to support free and fair elections in your area and to support employees who support democracy, as well.
We believe protecting our elections is a responsibility shared by all of us. Schools and other public institutions are trusted and important parts of our communities, and we have a responsibility to use our voices and our influence to protect the democratic process. Join us!
