As a member of the Illinois Education Association, you have an interest in education policy. Here’s your chance to have your voice heard. ISBE has been working diligently to redefine ISBE’s mission, vision, and goals as the state’s preK-12 education agency. They are seeking feedback from educators, administrators, families, community members, and stakeholders to help determine the appropriate strategies and metrics to ensure they are equipping each and every child with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive. ISBE will be outlining its three goals:

  1. Student Learning – Children will make academic gains, be successful, address historic inequities.
  2. Learning Conditions – Resources to create safe, healthy and welcoming environments to meet all needs.
  3. Elevating Educators – Supported, recognized and effective educators prepped through multiple pathways.

More dates have been added for educators around the state to have their voices heard. If you’re interested in attending, please complete the form below. You can also give your feedback by completing an online survey on the ISBE Website.
