You are invited!
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) is working with WestEd and University of California – Berkeley to study the relationship between the Kindergarten Individual Development Survey (KIDS) instrument and the Illinois early learning and kindergarten content standards.
They are seeking input from a broad array of individuals invested in the development of Illinois’ preschool and kindergarten children to assist us in developing an understanding of the alignment between the developmental levels of the KIDS assessment and the Illinois standards.
If you are interested in participating in this study, please provide input by April 22, 2016. For more information and materials, go to the KIDS web site.
In addition, they are inviting preschool teachers, kindergarten teachers, and child development experts from across the state to participate in a one or two day in-person meeting. If you are interested in participating, please complete an online application by April 13, 2016
