The Illinois General Assembly is on the verge of passing a budget that is woefully inadequate.

Current budget proposals, based on existing revenues, would cut programs that help children, the ill and the elderly.

It reduces funding for public schools and dramatically cuts funding for higher education.

Illinois has a revenue problem.  The needs far exceed revenue to address them.

Take action.

Urge your legislators to support adequate revenue that will meet the state’s needs.

Send a letter to your senator and state representative.
