Tell everyone you know – VOTE ‘NO’

Voters will be asked whether the Illinois Constitution “should be amended to require a 3/5ths majority vote to increase a benefit under any public pension or retirement system.”

This amendment might sound good to those who want to cut your pensions, but it won’t do anything to solve the pension underfunding problem and it will make fixing bad pension policy more difficult.

Use the VOTE NO graphic to tell IEA members, along with their friends and family, to VOTE NO on the amendment!

The graphic is downloadable and may be used on stickers, in e-correspondence or printed documents. Use it as your signature line. Use it as your profile picture on Facebook, Twitter or other social networking sites. Put it in letterhead. Right click on the graphic and select “Save as” to place in a document or on your computer desktop. If you would like a larger image, click on the graphic.

For more information on HJRCA 49, visit the IEA website.

Each field office has received a limited supply of stickers with the VOTE NO message. Contact your regional office to get the VOTE NO message out!
