UPDATE: CTU will continue its strike

The House of Delegates for the Chicago Teachers Union on Sunday voted to continue the CTU’s strike.

On Saturday, thousands of CTU members and their supporters, including members of the Illinois Education Association led by President Cinda Klickna, participated in a Solidarity Rally in Chicago’s Union Park.

    As a retired u46teacher and union rep……my heart goes out to the Chicago TU.I know the stresses of going on strike and they are getting a lot of bad press.As usual, the public does not understand the conditions under which teachers try to teach.What is ETA doing to support them?
