The strike that has closed Lake Forest High School since Wednesday will apparently continue on Monday; no agreement resulted from Friday’s negoations with the LFHS Board of Education. Members of the Lake Forest Education Association went on strike Wednesday after the board failed to offer a fair contract.
The board is threatening to hold school on Monday, regardless of the strike and is telling parents that student attendance is mandatory.
